Mishon D. Montgomery is a passionate, award-winning motivational speaker, trainer, strategist, and coach. A United States Air Force Veteran with 20 years and 9 days of honorable service, she has experience driving social impact initiatives and excels in leveraging leadership and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) concepts to create cultures of belonging in an equitable and accessible manner producing long-term sustainable change. Proudly hanging her boots in North Las Vegas, she is a wife, mother, dog mom, business owner, and advocate.

Mishon’s military experience and drive for normalizing female leadership and representation for the present and rising generation led her to create Mishon Montgomery LLC. The public speaking, training, and coaching business partners with organizations globally to provide powerful facilitation that inspires and motivates leaders, professionals, and educators to meet the demands of a rapidly diversifying workplace and community. The company specializes in presentations and Keynote Speaking on Diversity and Inclusion, Leadership, Team Dynamics, Effective Communication, Unconscious Bias, Resilience, Suicide Prevention, Emotional Intelligence, and much more. Mishon Montgomery LLC’s mission is two-fold: She seeks to build a new wave of leadership focused on inclusion, belonging, and intention in the workplace so that every individual has equal opportunity to reach their full potential; and most importantly, she seeks to rid the world of boring presentations!

Being honored with many prestigious awards for her dedication to leadership and development, Mishon has received the: Bob Hope Spirit of Hope Award; NAACP Roy Wilkins Renown Service Award; Brigadier General Wilma Vaught Visionary Leader Award; Blacks in Government Military Leader Award; and was presented a Proclamation by the State of Nevada Assemblywomen. Additionally, Mishon sits on the boards of Emerge Nevada, focusing on recruiting, training, and providing powerful networks to increase the number of women from diverse backgrounds in public office; and Silver State Equality, a statewide LGBTQ+ civil rights organization, that strives to create a world that is healthy, just, and fully equal for all LGBTQ+ people. Additionally, she sits on the U.S. Vets, Las Vegas advisory board focusing on creating and maintaining housing solutions for veterans in southern Nevada.

Lastly, Mishon holds a Master of Public Administration (Public Policy and Governance) and maintains Diversity and Inclusion Certifications from Cornell University and Coach Diversity Institute. She has also earned a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, is a Certified Master Resilience Trainer, Motivational Speaker, and Life Transformation Coach. An eternal optimist, Mishon consistently marvels in the deliciousness of life.
